Wedding Shower - Nautical Theme

I was so incredibly lucky to have 3 wedding showers! One in Boston where I lived, one in North Carolina where my family lives, and one in Connecticut where I grew up. I will make sure to show some highlights from each shower. I will start with my first shower which was right after 4th of July. It was hosted by my in-laws who live on the lake. It was the most beautiful day and we were able to see a lot of family and friends that we hadn't seen since the Christmas holiday.

My in-laws went overboard with all the decorations and prep work for the shower. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law found tons of ideas on Pinterest to create the nautical theme. Here are some pictures of their inspiration!

And here are the final results! They were totally going to drag a small dingy boat that they had in the water to use as a beverage container, however after further inspection of the boat they decided that might not be the most hygienic option! However, my father-in-law made these bookcases which they used to display glasses, straws, and extra wine/liquor. The wine barrel belongs to my sister-in-law and  they found a glass table top at goodwill that turned it into a bar.

Not only did they have the normal beer and wine but they also had signature drinks!

They had Mondo Mules (named after our cat Armondo), Blushing Bride Bellini's (for my love of bubbly) and of course Sangria. It was a hot day and everyone really enjoyed all over the signature cocktails.

Like I mentioned before, I love bubbly! So I thought this sign they made was perfect! I need to look into buying a similar sign for my new house!
This is a picture of the dessert table! We had banana pudding, cheese straws, cupcakes and my sister-in-law ordered monogrammed cups for homemade gelato!

All of the silverware was also tied up with nautical rope! For some reason we didn't get a lot of pictures of the amazing BBQ we had! Needless to say everyone ate and drank well!!

Looking back at these pictures it makes me want summer to get here ASAP!

Happy Pinning!!
